Thank you both for creating a great D Day visit! Eddie's deep expertise in military history together with his career as a colonel in the Royal Marines left no question unanswered. The setting of Chateau Beaulieu felt like a Masterpiece Theater movie set. Such spectacular gardens and views! Your priority of care and extra service for your guests was always foremost and made for a memorable visit. Great food, conversations, and most important comfy beds!

Sharon, the history you shared with us at the tapestry was captivating – the tapestry was amazing to see. We loved the beauty of Bayeux Cathedral as well. Thank you so very much for all kindness and hospitality over these last few days. We really enjoyed listening to your stories, learning about your home and walking the property: such beauty and peace. The details of history of the Normandy region is overwhelming in this short period of time and it gives us more reason to learn more about the incredible sacrifices our men and women made to secure our freedoms. Thank you both for your entertaining stories of your lives, your British humour, and your love for what you do – sharing yourselves with many.
We wish to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the over-the-top hospitality, kindness and terrific tours during our stay in Normandy. It was great to get to know the two of you over a 3 day stay. Eddie, your knowledge of history is so impressive and we feel much more educated in what occurred during WWII. Sharon, the meals you planned and prepared for us were perfectly gourmet. We loved your mealtime stories…so entertaining they were! It truly was a pleasure staying in your château and you can rest assured that we will spread the word about our experience to folks back in the States.
