Vehicle Transport. In order for the proprietors of Château de Beaulieu to comply with the requirements of French Transport Law, all journeys provided by the Proprietors by motorised vehicles on public roads are offered FREE OF CHARGE. Such arrangements are known as SERVICES PRIVÉS (private services) and are governed by Articles R3131-2 and R3131-3 of the Code of Transport. Journeys of this type include collection and delivery of guests from and to local railway stations or ferry ports and any excursions by motorised vehicle to places of cultural or historic interest. The Department of Transport conduct periodic and unannounced road-side inspections of vehicles and documents in order to ensure compliance with the law. It is therefore necessary to carry in any vehicle, written proof that a private service is being provided free of charge. Guests will therefore be asked to sign and date a copy of the appropriate invoice before the start of any excursion.

There is a charge made for the following services: en-suite accommodation, breakfast, dinner, escorted walking excursions around places of historic or cultural interest, as listed elsewhere on this webite, along with provision of oral interpretation, visual aids and museum entry.
