About Us

 

Edward was educated at Wellington College and commissioned into the Royal Marines in 1979. In his 28 year military career, Edward served in a wide variety of British units, deployed to many parts of the world and worked with the Armed Forces of numerous countries. He saw active service in Northern Ireland, East Timor, Iraq and Afghanistan. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. With more than 10 years experience leading battlefield tours, he will be your guide for D Day related itineraries.

 

Sharon is a highly qualified accountant who worked for both the British Civil Service (Ministry of Defence) and for a variety of UK and US commercial companies. She is also a very experienced sub aqua diving instructor but it is her love of Normandy and a deep interest in its history that has led her to learn about this fascinating region. She will be your guide for Roman, Viking and Norman related itineraries.
